Let me be to drink my tea.
I watch the sun rise above the trees.
As my hair meanders along my nose,
I hear a owl and it’s attempts to sing..
Let me be to drink my tea.
I need this time to find some peace.
There’s not much left in this crazy life.
But this hot green tea puts minds at ease.
Let me be to drink my tea
I’ll then do yoga to set me free.
I’ll sit outside and talk with the flowers
and all the while I’ll begin to believe.
Let me be to drink my tea.
And while I do so, please think of me
and all the things I want you to be
I hope one day you find me drinking tea
and you’ll embark on this tea-time adventure with me.
